The red line traces the approximately one-mile Lake Creek Trail route — from the Round Rock West neighborhood (where West Creek Loop sits, bottom left), along the creek, through a new pedestrian underpass beneath I-35, across the new Lake Creek bridge, and into Centennial Plaza in downtown Round Rock. Sprouts Farmers Market, restaurants, and annual events like the Round Rock Arts Fest are now a walk away.

Bridge Placed Over Lake Creek to Connect Round Rock West with Downtown
The City of Round Rock used a crane to place a new bridge over Lake Creek as part of the one-mile Lake Creek Trail project. The trail connects Round Rock West Park through a pedestrian underpass under I-35 to Centennial Plaza downtown. The $2.46M project was approved by voters in 2023 and was completed in late 2025 / early 2026.
